The Centre for Community Economic Development (CCED) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization in Kenya dedicated to the holistic transformation and inclusivity of underserved rural communities. We strive to empower these communities through sustainable economic development initiatives that address critical needs such as education, technology, clean water, food security, healthcare, and environmental conservation.

To empower economically underserved and diverse rural ethnic communities to engage in inclusive and dynamic economic development programs that are self-sustaining.

To uplift vulnerable and underserved communities through sustainable economic development initiatives that enhance livelihood.
To achieve this we are committed to:
- Solar Lighting: Ensuring lighting to every home / institution and trade centres.
- Educational Opportunities: Providing quality education and skills training to empower individuals and strengthen communities.
- Internet Connectivity: Bridging the digital divide by expanding access to technology and promoting digital literacy.
- Clean Water Access: Ensuring access to safe and clean water to improve health and well-being.

- Support the Elderly and the Financially disadvantaged: Providing the needed essential care to the elderly, widows/widowers, orphans and the vulnerable in the community.
